The list
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| smc_consent | StickerMatchCut | Records whether you accepted or declined analytics, so the banner stops asking. Necessary, since it exists only to honour your own answer. | 6 months |
| ph_… (PostHog) | PostHog | A random identifier so repeat page views in one session count as a single visit. Set only after you accept. | 12 months |
| AI Select model cache | StickerMatchCut | The AI model, kept by your browser so it does not download again. Created only if you turn AI Select on, and it identifies nothing about you. | Until you clear it |
Cookies and browser storage such as localStorage are treated the same way here, because the privacy rules treat them the same way.
Changing your answer
The button below reopens the banner from your first visit, and your new answer replaces the old one. Declining after having accepted also clears what PostHog stored.
Clearing cookies in your browser settings has the same effect. Nothing in the video tool depends on cookies, so blocking them will not stop it working.
The privacy policy covers the wider picture, including what is never sent to us in the first place.
